February 4, 2007, Venice, CA - When Ahmad Haidar stepped into Gold`s Gym, Venice Sunday after the 2007 Ironman he shocked the Bodybuilding media and industry community with his mind-blowing condition. Everybody, fellow athletes, reporters and photographers, came and congratulated him, eyes wide open in shock. (Yes Ahmad was good at the contest too and should have been much higher than his 8th, but he did not look like this...) Check out the photos and you will understand. Perhaps this is the look that could have been sold to the many millions training in the gyms around the world? And Pro Bodybuilding would not have lost the connection to the huge base of the iron sport?

March 8, 2006, Vienna, Austria - Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler created tremendous industry buzz this month, because he left long time sponsor AMI (Flex and M&F magazines) and joined ranks with arch rival Muscular Development. We have to admit that we are really surprised by Jay`s move. What is the underlying meaning for the sport? Is AMI in serious financial troubles? How much did Mr. Blechman have to pay to the the exclusive rights to Mr. Olympia? Very interesting development for sure!
